Babolat

Babolat:

Babolat is a French company best known for its tennis racquets and strings which are used by several top players like Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, Kim Clijsters, Jo-Wilfred Tsonga, Leander Paes, Agnieszka Radwanska etc. The company was originally started by Pierre Babolat in 1875 who created the first strings made of Natural gut. The ownership of the company has been kept in the family for over fifteen decades and is currently headed by Eric Babolat. The company solely focused on strings until 1994, when it became a ‘total tennis’ company. That is, Babolat began producing racquet frames and selling them in Europe. It then moved on to Japan, and later to the USA in 2000. The popularity of Babolat racquets picked up quickly in North America and Europe.

The most popular series of racquets from Babolat include the Aeropro, Pure Drive, and Pure Storm lines. The technology that goes into each racquet is heavily researched and has led to some of the most innovative equipment in the game. Babolat also makes high-quality junior racquets that incorporate some of the most advanced racquet technology on the market.

The world-renown brand is famous for its high quality product as well as its double-line logo, a fixture of the brand since its inception. Anytime you see those two lines you can rest assured you're getting a superior product that will outperform others on court.

Apart from racquets strings, Babolat also makes shoes, tennis balls, wristbands, grips, and bags. Babolat tennis bags made with the same attention to detail and construction that goes into all their products, making them highly desirable by many tournament players.
